Dominique Tham was selected Virginapreps Classic Player of the game after scoring 22 points on 10 of 16 shooting with 18 rebounds, and three blocks. Tham is a post player but his height (6-foot-4) will limit his D1 choices. However, there is no question about his talent as he has scored in double-figures in every game this season. He's a tweener who is hoping to prove he can compete at the D1 level.

Guard Marqua Walton was the Warriors top outside threat scoring 21 points including 3 of 7 from behind the arc. Walton (6-foot-1) was the only Wakefield player to make a 3-pointer. He is a dangerous outside shooter with range beyond the 3-point line and he added three stills. He could probably get some feelers at the D3 level. Sophomore lan Treakle (5-foot-8) finished with eight assists and he was a clutch 10 of 12 from the free throw which is something you want from your point guard. He scored 14 points with 10 coming from the free throw line.

Kellam was led by Rashad Hammett who tallied 16 including four treys. Hammett (5-foot-11) didn't get to run the offense much so it was hard to gauge his point guard skills. He can definitely shoot the basketball from anywhere on the floor. Kellam junior Jashawn Shelton (6-foot-5) is an athletic defensive player who is still working on his offensive game. He had a stat line of 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 blocks. Senior Janai Raynor-Powell (5-foot-10) set a VirginiaPreps record with 11 assists however he was only 5 of 19 from the field.
