Radford-33 Galax-26 FINAL OT

But like I said to many kids are weak minded and will quit anything that is challenging or not going how they think it should and they for some reason feel the world owes them something. It's really sad

I think the radio said Galax out gained them something like 390 yards to 330. That isn't exact but it's in the neighborhood.

Think all but 32 yards were on the ground for Galax. Radford also had more rushing yards than passing.

The kicker is good, he puts the kickoffs in the end zone a good bit of the time which would've made a huge difference in field position. He is also accurate on field goals and extra points and that could've been the difference in this game. He wasn't there and we don't know if it would've made a difference if he had been there. With that being said Radford made the plays at the end to win the game and Galax didn't. Hats off to Radford on the win and maybe we will get another shot at them down the road.

Again well said MT FAN91 and I truly believe that the Radford game was the TIDES last loss unless someone gets them deep in the playoffs. Now don't get me wrong I will never pick against my MAROONS lol but from what I've see so far Galax will be able to throw all over us. The run game should be close to even imo. Cant wait to make the trip to Galax in week 4 of this young season what should I be eating that week in Galax MT FAN 91?

Galax is the best 0-2 team I can think of right now, and their game with Giles should be another barn-burner. These losses may be very interesting when it comes to seeding in the playoffs, as they may be a lower seed that nobody wants to draw.

Blaster I hope you're right about not having another loss but I'm sure all the teams left on our schedule will try and make sure that doesn't happen. There are plenty of tough outs left, GW and Giles are a couple that come to mind. We have gave Giles all they wanted the last two years but they have found a way to come away with the win. Maybe this year will be our year to finally get them but beating Giles is no easy task. Time will tell how Galax responds to the tough losses and hopefully they will learn from these games and figure out how to win those tough close games. As far as food in Galax, we have plenty of fast food. Also there is County Line Cafe( which is home cooking) across the road from McDonald's. There is also macados, smoke house(barbecue), scoots and the dairy bar all on main st. The dairy bar is right below the high school. And El Torito is a good mexican restaurant and RJ's is like your CJ's.

Thanks for the grub ideas probably gonna go with RJ's or some good Mexican sounds good to lol. And when I played at GW we had some battles with Giles we beat them my Junior year to make it to the state Semis but got beat by Gate city who went on to get killed by Gretna so I know the challenge of beating Giles but I honestly think Galax has everything they need to beat them. And GW has all the tools and talent to make it a really good game with Galax but if the same team I've seen over the first 2 weeks shows up to Galax in 2 weeks time that game will get as bad as the Radford game did. Idk why but we can not cover the middle of the field TE dumps are there all day against us and I know Galax has a really good TE. We have all the speed and ability to cover but the kids get sucked in to easy and blow the coverage. Now I will say our run D has been on point both games so far fc had a kid open all night but they quit throwing it and by the time they came back to it there line had gotten tired so we swarmed them. That game will tell a lot about both GW and Galax
