Region 4B Boys Bracket (Updated throughout tournament)

Ok here is what I think:
Louisa - is who we thought they were
Midlothian - better than most think they are
Caroline - not as good as most think they are
Monacan - sometimes... a bit of both
Huguenot - better than most think they are
With that being said, there is not a high degree of separation in any of the mentioned teams.
I don’t think anyone from region B can win states. But someone from B will pull of a major upset.

Midlothian at Louisa
Game 1 Midlothian did take Louisa to overtime in a 46-43 Loss. Midlothian is a very good shooting team, however Louisa’s length took a bunch of outside shots away from them. If Midlothian can’t shoot at a higher percentage than they did in the earlier game they won’t stand a chance this time around. I think Louisa win this one by 10. Call me bias but I saw the defense make them struggle from three point range. The upset May happen but in this round I don’t think it will.

I’ve seen him play quite a bit the past two summers. He has improved no doubt. Still he’s light and not as dominating as people think. Still at 7 feet he causes problems.
He will just make it harder for Louisa to rely on rebounds and second chance opps. Going to have to have the mid-range and long range jumpers falling. A floater or 2 would be well placed also.
Certainly a winnable game and one that Louisa will be favored in according to most. I think that would be a whale of a game personally. I am hoping we get to see that match up.
Louisa vs. Huguenot will be played at Clover Hill High, tomorrow 2/23 at 7PM.
So is EV @ Monacan being moved? I was under the assumption neutral sites were only for State Semifinals.
Apparently there's an issue with Huguenot's gym. No other games are being moved.
From my understanding Huguenot has played ever game away this year. Their gym has had an issue dating back to July.
They have played at Lucille Brown Middle School, The Arthur Ashe Center,and Trinity all has been concidered "Home Games"
Congrats to Huguenot! Louisa had no answer for 7 footer #10 and #30, those guys got all the rebounds and loose balls that mattered. Congrats to my Lions for fighting hard!
Good win for Monacan! Don’t understand your response. Eastern View can lose every game and it wouldn’t faze me. Eastern View wasn’t even suppose to be in the playoffs and they were so congrats to them. Having only one senior will prove to be vital for them next year. Again my assumptions were correct Caroline and Louisa didn’t make it any further because of many different reasons. Huguenot was way better and some of the competition they faced helped them break it open in the second quarter. Caroline just couldn’t overcome the mistakes of playing a district opponent 4xs. Yes I think Richmond basketball is more credible compared to the Jefferson and Battlefield this year

I don’t have a team my high school that I graduated from hasn’t done anything in years. So instead of trying to come back with something you should just delete yourself on here like you were suppose to do. I’m sure the real Louisa faithful would want you to from what I’ve been told.
No, I asked the other day who your team is and you ignored the question instead of just answering it. And you have also told me repeatedly that you weren't posting here anymore and not meeting anyone else from here, so don't even go there. Warwick. Don’t forget you seeked me out to send me reminders in this post because you didn’t like my opinion. We wouldn’t be having this conversation if you would have just stayed in your lane. You couldn’t do that because you had too much to say about Louisa.
Because you couldn't back up your opinion, so it came off like you didn't know what you were talking about, and it was just not being able to handle my opinions. You just kept saying "average" over and over but couldn't say WHY. Even I had my own thoughts about why we could be considered average, but I was waiting on yours.
You had a problem with me saying Louisa or Caroline wouldn’t make it and I said it was a difference in competition. You couldn’t swallow the fact I didn’t think they would make it and it turned out exactly why I said. There were other reasons to but there were no need to post about information given to me by someone else
And when anyone posts on here they have the right to post their opinions without backing anything up. That’s the problem with this site now. You get too many people in their feelings over someone else’s opinion. Your suppose to say who cares they have an opinion like you do...
Well Louisa returns most of its core next year except Bell and probably Poindexter. So hopefully we rematch Huguenot next year when they don't have Rustin and we don't have Bell.
