Robinson girls hang on to defeat Edison, 52-46 . Gutsy performance by both teams...several players clearly toughed it out with knee/ankle injuries. Great game.

Woodson beats South County in Occoquan Region Semi 66-48.

Close at the half but Woodson pulls away late led by seniors Limbago- 18pts, Taylor- 15 and Burke with 13.

Final in VHSL Occoquan Region 6C Hoops Semis in 2 OT's - Hayfield 68, West Potomac 66

Carlos Poindexter's Hawks are headed back to the State Tournament for a fifth straight year.

Hayfield (23-5) will take on C.G. Woodson (22-4) for the regional crown.

I don't think either team was ever ahead by more than five points in the Hayfield-West Potomac game.

Finals are at Hayfield on Friday. Girls at 6:00 and Boys at "7:30" (there's almost no chance it will start by 7:30)
