In a continuation of the previous Friday’s game, Coach Littleton Parker turned a grudge match into a blowout. The Panthers were worn out by the depth of the Indians and were pounded on until holes opened up. Charles City will next take on Franklin as Southampton battles Colonial Heights.

King William showed improvement as the defense was able to make enough plays give them a chance but the Essex defense was extremely tough. Next week Coach Todd Jones will take his group down to Surry County who is also turning things around.
COLONIAL BEACH 18 FRANKLIN 8
New head coach Earl Payton has brought a spark to the Drifters who have improved versus the run than last season. The Drifters made several big stops in the second half to pull away just enough as the Broncos couldn’t sustain on their enough drives to be a threat late. The Drifters will host #2 Sussex Central on Friday.
Charles City will go back down south Friday again but hoping to catch their 2nd win.
