The news has come out today that Dr. Lynn Moore, the only team doctor that Riverheads had in its 60 year history, has passed away. His death comes just a few months after his wife, also a Riverheads fixture, died back during the football season.

Riverheads fans of course knew of his amazing dedication to the school, and according to stories we had heard, he had only missed one or two games during his entire association with the school. Fans of other schools also came to respect him, as he could be seen running out onto the field to help an opposing player as readily as he would one from Riverheads.

This is indeed a major loss for the Riverheads community but of course for his medical practice as well, which extended into the entire area.
