They deserve to lose with the way they are playing right now. Soft up front on both sides of the ball and scared catching passes. LB play getting pretty bad now as well... would love to see #10 out there but doubt he will play on defense.

Sherando figured Salem out on offense and Salem’s dropped passes has made it easy on defense after that 90+ yard touchdown run.

Another drop on a screen pass that would have went for big yardage stops Salem before halftime and they trail 21-20 after leading 20-0.

Doug Williams from the Redskins is at this game? What’s the connection?
He played with Mark Mosley and Mark dies Sherandos games on HUDL and his grandkids went to Sherando. Doug was here to light the Christmas tree in Middletown which is 10 minutes from Sherando

That’s dope. Is Mosley a Sherando alumni?

No call by officials jumping the center on an extra point may be difference in game. Also God awful pass interference call on Salem in 3rd qt.

Sherando responds and makes a two point conversion - pass to wide open receiver. Sherando 29 Salem 26.

Sherando - 29 Salem - 26 FINAL

Salem misses a game tying FG with no time left after some atrocious clock manangement.
I think they were going with their highest percentage plays, which happened to be the worst for clock management. See that last drive being an 4 and out had they ran their 2 min offense out of the spread. The amount of drops and difficulty out of R and L formations, I liked seeing them do the power I there at the end.

Great season to those spartan kids, has been a blast seeing them all year.

Good luck sherando and a great win you all just got!

Yes but even with that they could have run another play and/or taken a shot at the end zone. They let 20 seconds run off the clock and then used their last TO. It was a an error for sure.

Fair enough. Im not a coach for a reason!

This is what playoff football is all about

The problem is he let 20 seconds run down. Could have called timeout got 2 more plays before kicking field goal.
Inexcusable

This no call went a long way in deciding game.
, a player cannot jump over the center on an extra point try in high school football, as this would be considered "hurdling" and is penalized with a 15-yard penalty; it is illegal for a defensive player to leap over an offensive lineman directly above their body frame, even when attempting to block a kick.

Never get demoralized. Always another play, always another season. For those graduating to play ball, another season, and for those graduating to live life, take the same intensity to whatever you do.

It’s a mindset.

Good season. Definitely things to work on for next season. Sure up the defense and keep developing the offense players and the team will be fine. I do agree with the previous posts about the clock management but it is what it is. Can’t change it now

Two big plays end season last 2 years. Both highly questionable decisions. One on defense and this one on offense.

Yep. It’s definitely a tough way to lose. All they can do now is look back on what could of been different and carry it into next season

Here are a few games that ended on big plays with fans questioning play calls and the handling of the game, as well. A few outspoken fans were not happy with mag at this time. Then they were placated by a runner up in 2014. Then they forgot the bad times all together during Mags three peat.

Always happened at Salem because football is a game of risk as much as it is of fortitude and preserverance.

Not sure what to say. Great football game, and on any loss there is plenty of woulda, coulda, shoulda.

You make a compelling case on the shoulda, but not sure what to do with that other than next play, next game, next season. It’s a mindset.
