Did the Shenandoah name a Coach of the Year? If so, I have not read it. This might seem like an odd choice but I would be tempted to give it to Buffalo Gap's Chad Ward for taking the Bison from a winless season to a 10-win season. But I know the award usually goes to someone whose team was at or near the top.

We love Coach Keyes here at the Rock but I would almost agree, the Buffalo Gap turn around after losing every game last deserves recognition.And no seniors this either, great job.

I would venture to say that I was a bit surprised that Jefferson won the Player of the Year award. I thought Nickel was the best player in the district. And as a Lee High fan, why didn’t Terrell Mickens get more votes for Coach of the Year. The way he got them boys playing right now is deserving of CoY honors. Only school in the district to beat East Rock.
