As always, Essex Basketball season starts later than most due to guys still playing football. They’re behind most teams in terms of team chemistry due to the late start. According to MaxPreps, Essex is 2-4. Two games that caught my eye were vs. 4A #7 King George and 1A #8 Northampton. The KG game, Essex went in at the half with a slim margin but had a poor 3rd Q that decided that game in favor of KG. The 2nd game with Northampton went to OT with Northampton winning. Wondering how good can this team get as they start to gel more.

Robinson and Harris missed the 2 games in the Christchurch tournament and Robinson missed another game because of taking a football visit to FSU. The Northampton game definitely caught my attention too, because I think Northampton is the 2nd best team in Region A and Essex was right there. I'm watching them on Facebook Live right now, but the feed isn't the best

I just watched some of the feed you were talking about. Malachi Thornton looks to be a solid player as well. I looked up the roster. If it’s correct, 9 of the 12 players are from the football.
