Avalon has a good team. Good QB, receivers and backs. Defense isn't bad either. Just not deep with athletes. It appeared that they basically played gheir starters the entire game.
HS on the other hand, played with starter 1st qtr and in the 2nd qtr, with a 21-7 lead played the 2nd stringers, for about half of the qtr.
HS played starters to start the 3rd qtr and tacked on another one for a 28-7 lead. Then to 35-7 late in the 3rd.
4th qtr, HS's bench played out the rest of the qtr with Avalon scoring again (xpt blocked) and our kicker knocked a 30 yd field goal to end the scoring. Final 38-13
