Boys:

Richlands 70, (1A) Castlewood 20

Race Moir hauled down 14 rebounds and Caleb Horn led a balanced scoring attack with a dozen points as Richlands improved to 4-0 after a 70-20 boys basketball win over Castlewood on Monday in the opening game of the Hoopalachia Hardwood Classic at Twin Valley High School.

Taylor Horn and Cade Simmons added 10 points apiece for the high-scoring Blue Tornado.

Richlands is averaging 25 steals per game and holding opponents to 35.5 points per contest.

Ridgeview 76, (1A) Grundy 39

Gabe Counts and the scorching Ridgeview Wolfpack have come out of the gates scoring.

Counts accounted for 10 points and seven assists as hot-shooting Ridgeview improved to 5-0 with a non-district road win.

Jacob Yates (17 points), Griffen Counts (11 points, 11 rebounds), and Bailey Thomas (10 points) also led the way for Ridgeview, which drained 11 3-pointers and overcame 29 turnovers.

Cole Street's 10 points and 6'6" freshman Cade Looney's 16 rebounds were tops for Grundy.

Girls:

Lebanon 58, (1A) Patrick Henry 22

Averie Price poured in 17 points as the Lebanon Pioneers posted a non-district win over Patrick Henry.

It was the Pioneers' third win this season over the Rebels. Kayla Bollinger (14 points) and Kara Long (13 points) also starred in the win.

Lebanon started strong, building a 17-5 lead eight minutes into the game.

Wise Central 55, Oologah (Oklahoma) 49

The Wise Central Warriors improved to 6-0 by winning in comeback fashion.

The Warriors erased a 13-point second-half deficit to take a first-round triumph in the KSA Pre-Holiday Classic in Orlando, Florida.

Gracie Mullins pumped in 14 points in the win, while Brook Porter and Dee Cvetnich supplied 13 points apiece.

Oologah (3-2) got a 29-point performance from Karly Wadsworth.

Ridgeview 63, (1A) Grundy 33

Bailey Frazier scored 20 points as Ridgeview rolled past Grundy.

The Wolfpack opened the game on a 15-2 run en route to the easy win.

Nikole Counts (11 points, four rebounds, four assists), Addison Whitner (10 points, four rebounds) and Hannah Dotson (12 points, four rebounds) also played well.

Savannah Stiltner had seven points and 11 rebounds for Grundy.
