One of the brightest names in
the Bay Rivers this year is Tabb junior quarterback Rex
Harrison
who is having an
excellent season behind center. Harrison transferred to Tabb this year from private
school Nansemond-Suffolk Academy and he provides the aerial attack
to complement Tabb's running game led by Corey Patrick. The Tigers have won
three in a row and they are averaging close to 29 points per game.

After seven games, Harrison is leading
the Bay Rivers district in passing yards and touchdowns. He has
completed 37 of 70 pass attempts for 802 yards. He has an
8-2 touchdown to interception ratio. He started receiving recruting letters as a
sophomore.

"Last year, I started receiving letters from Vanderbilt, Oregon, Princeton, and Maryland,"
Harrison said. "Over the summer, I was ask to attend the Vanderbilt rising
star skill camp. I was also invited to the Nike training camp at
the University of Virginia."

Harrison (6-foot-3, 185) says he plans to visit a few
schools before the season is over if the Tigers don't make the playoffs. "Boston
College asked for tape and I'm going there for an unofficial visit
on November 21 against UNC," Harrison said. "Vanderbilt, Oregon, Maryland,
have also been in contact."
