All 3 kids just completed their Sophomore years at CHS this past week. Truly amazing story. Jerry and Trevon are football players. Makes your realize how important life is and how small football is.

You are absolutely right. This reminds us all of how tentative life truly is. Great job by these young men. Maybe football isn't as small a factor as you think. The lessons in responsibility you and the other coaches teach every day helped prepare these guys to take the proper action. It's good to hear a happy ending for a change. Great job by all!

Nice to hear a positive story for a change. Very impressive how these kids did not panic and and did all the correct things. It may have been a very different story if this had happened somewhere else. All kudo's to Jerry and Trevon. These have to be individuals of intelligence, character and good upbringing. Real leaders that should be a great value to the Black Knights next year.

But no, I don't believe football has anything to do with what occurred. But that doesn't mean it didn't.
