Also reflected poorly on GW. Another tactic that a rival fan would enjoy.

One thing it did for all of us over in the East- made us aware and created an interest of something we ordinarily would not have cared about.

You are correct about making more of us in the East pay attention to Girls Basketball and in the West at that.

I support Girls sports (my own kids play them) but in our area there is not much attention paid to Girls B-Ball it seems (no offense). My sister played back in day - great fun.

Softball is huge here and the last few years girls Volleyball has grown into a NND crowd favorite (they are crazy exciting!). Girls Soccer in some parts have grown too - for example, NHS had over 45 girls come out for soccer this week! LHS may have a girls team again I hear.
