Hard to believe, but there is only four games remaining in the regular season. There is very little margin of error for the teams who have dreams of the post season. Every play counts as we come down the stretch run.

EC Glass (5-1, 2-1) at Jefferson Forest (4-2, 3-0)

A big conference 4 game once again highlights the schedule this week, and once again it will feature Jefferson Forest. After surviving a thriller last Friday, the Cavaliers play host to a rejuvenated Hilltopper squad. Glass has been led by a strong defense, and is coming off a shutout of Rustburg last week. The offense is averaging 35 points per game, and will look to match every score with a score. The Cavaliers are an offensive juggernaut and have scored over 40 points in each of their last four games. Expect another capacity crowd in Sabre Stadium for this contest.

LCA (3-3, 2-1) at Heritage (5-1, 2-1)

LCA is still looking for their first road win of the season. That is one tall order this week as they travel to City Stadium. The Bulldogs will be tested by the best defense in the Seminole. Heritage is allowing less than 10 points per game on the season. Since the loss to EC Glass, Heritage has won the last two games by a combined score of 78-15.

Amherst (3-3, 2-1) at Liberty (2-4, 0-3)

The Lancers lost a nail biter last week, and feel like they let one get away. The Lancers are in must win mode the rest of the season if they want to make the playoffs. That doesn’t bode well for the Minutemen this week. Liberty gave LCA all they could last week, but feel just short. Injuries and depth are a big concern for Liberty, but they are a scrappy bunch and will always give great effort.

Brookville (4-2, 1-2) at Rustburg (2-4, 0-3)

A rare Thursday night tilt between the two cross-county rivals, as there is no classes Friday or Monday. The district games have not been kind to either team. Brookville will look to even their district record against a struggling Rustburg team. The Bees will play host to Jefferson Forest next week, and you may see them in the crowd at JF on Friday. In the three district games the Devils have been outscored 139-21, and have been shutout in both of the last two contests.
