Here are the top 4 wins for each team so far in 2018 - add a better win if I missed one.

(I will skip over Riverheads as they are clearly number one.)

Chilhowie won over Marion, JI Burton, George Wythe, Virginia High

Galax won over Radford, George Wythe, Fort Chiswell, Auburn

Northumberland won over Essex, Colonial Beach, W&L, Christchurch

When you are saying top wins. You mean teams with the highest points or best records.

I honestly do not know enough about the east, so in your opinion who is the best teams that Riverheads and Northumberland beat.

Chilhowies signature win would be GW as it stands and Galaxs would be Radford .In my opinion.

I know we are talking about wins here. Although as a Galax fan I am prouder I guess you would say - about the close loss to 8-0 Glenvar than the 49-6 win over 7-1 Radford. We beat them everywhere but the scoreboard. Although that doesn't count. Haha

It is computer generated there is no way northumberland is no 1 in region A how is Washington lee a good win no disrespect but they are and average 1a team and then they beat a private school im not mad I hope northumberland is as good as advertised maybe they will maybe they won't win the NND but we all know Franklin is the best team in region A not even trying to sugar coat it is what it is the broncos are five callers ahead of them Jimmy lol.

I wasn't trying to say any team is better than the rest of 1a. I know very little about the East and just took the top ranked teams in 1a by points on the site. For Clarity my school is 2a.
I was just looking at the teams in the different regions and started number crunching. The points are great for seeding thats all. The teams will play it on the field Look what Grayson County who had to beat Galax just to get into the playoffs last year at the bottom seed did to top seed Ridgeview in the first round.

You are getting Rapp and Rapp County from the bull run district confused just fyi. Page County did beat Rapp County this year 65-0 not Rapp from the neck.

You are assuming that others take it serious. I couldn't care less. It is a message board, but it gets tiring when just about every thread on here turns into an argument instead of a good conversation. It goes from just hyping up teams and matchups to talking bad about fans and teams to try and make them look bad and dirty and it evolves from there.

I have no issue with you or your post, and wasnt talking subliminally. I wasn't going to mention each to for both sides, because a bunch have been overlooked and called overrated. About the only team that hasn't fell in either category is Riverheads. So when you have no affiliation you look for a team to cheer for, and some teams/fans have switched back and forth to both sides.

Maybe - maybe not. If you have scored 368 points against your opponents and the majority of said opponents have a winning record it is a good indication of how good the offense is. The points against would be a much better measuring stick if you could somehow only count the points scored against first team D

What I'm saying is ... let's say you have a GOOD team, like we did a few years back w/Caleb Jennings, and have a running clock every game. Avg. score was like 50-6, but it could've been 75-3. Only had 2 games with opponents who won fewer than 5 games.

I certainly see what you are saying and you are correct. Although if you score enough points in the first half to be able to trigger a running clock then it certainly is a good indicator of how good your offense is. If you are playing with a full clock the whole game then it is very unlikely that you are going to score 50 points. Unless the score is 50 to 45.

I've seen a few scores like that in the past couple of years.
A couple of years ago, Tazewell had a 3-game stretch where the avg. score was like 56-55.... 50-43, 48-60 & 69-62. They scored at least 30 in 3 more games... and lost all 3. Talking about 20 finals per night for 15 years - you see AND rem. weird some weird stuff.

I think so too. I think they could beat Burton. PH is pretty good and I think Chilhowie will see them again in the playoffs. Zac Brown is a heck of a RB.

I'd favor Burton. PH is very one dimensional and while Brown is fantastic, JIB has more weapons and is stout at LOS.

Yeah unfortunatly the site uses numbers from Schools and some schools do not send in numbers. I seen where someone had asked about Chilhowie and I looked and theirs was updated so I posted.sorry
