Toughest road to state

I know personally Dawson ran 4.42 electronic timed. Cook might be a step faster depends on what he ate for breakfast. If you don't think Rockbridge has speed you are mistaken. Yeah they went winless but they are a decent sized 3A school with speed to burn in skilled positions. Never really know until you play though. One of PM defensive backs ran Moore down from behind after at least behind 8 yards. Any way it all starts tonight. Good luck to all even the dumb Fort89 guy God bless that man.

Ill go with the 4.62

Fort89 has not said anything to that was Ernest Tee that told the truth about your boys power back are still good to have as long as your liner block for them.

Where was Dawson electronic timed?

A 215 pound RB running a documented 4.4 is s D1 prospect no matter where he plays and like I said before I don't see any recruiting pages for them. If I'm wrong show me the proof.

Oh no doubt a line can be to big thankfully this group are big but not fat. The size doesn't slow then down or make them tired. Against Galax they just flat out got outplayed and I think that woke them up.

I think if PM and GW make it to meet up with each other it will be a great game to watch. I would love to watch it. But either way if its Hurley and not PM I think it would be a great game to watch I would just like to see the big boys from GW and the big boys from PM match up.

It don't matter how big you are if you play with your heart. In 2001 I was a junior we beat Sussex 21-0 in the regular season for the district title we were big 300+ lbs across the O line and our D line was just as big. Sussex had little bitty dudes 5" 2" 200 defensive lineman and offensive line but when we played them again in the playoffs they took it to us they play with passion and determination we were the better team on paper and we were well coached we had a college coach but Sussex out hustled us played with more heart they beats us 42 -12 they went on to play in the state title game they lost to bath county I think so size don't matter when it comes to heart. It isn't the size of the dog in the fight its the size of the fight in the dog. To all the under dogs if yawl don't remember nothing I say just remember this quote
I was on that Sussex team...we didnt think we'd even make the playoffs that year but made the best of that opportunity. We all thought Franklin would win the state title that year.Every week we fought like that. That year really started the Franklin/Sussex rivalry. These kids not built like the old teams. I here you guys talking about the old days and i watch a lot of film from back in the day and this generation seems to lack that passion and fight sometimes. Good luck to everyone playing tonight and the rest of the playoff season. Lets not let the game we love divide us...we have enough of that every other day of the week. Woodlayer I'll be in Franklin tonight is that golden skillet still open?

6'2 215 and runs a 4.4. That's Adrian Peterson. You have that size and speed and you are playing Alabama on Saturdays, no matter where you are in the country.

Stopwatches can't be trusted guys. Your coach wants you to be faster than what you are so he hits the button a little quicker. I ran a 4.8 on the practice field and a 5.39 at wake forest. It sucks but its life.

Google told me that Adrian Peterson ran a 4.40 at the combine, he was 6'1 1/2 and weighed in at 217. So....Dawson is .4 seconds slower than AP and is 3 pounds heavier. I just can't believe that. Dawson is an unreal back, but he isn't AP, sorry.

I know I was impressed last year when I read about how the Galax line met every morning before school to lift. Plus with the fact that they've churned out multiple 3000 yard rushers and I'm not even sure what Peoples has this year so far. Plus having a coach like Dixon with NFL experience as a lineman doesn't hurt. Honestly hard to argue against Galax having the best line

No doubt Galax is probably the top dog in the line department. #65 I think or 63 is a man lol they are the only team this year to even compete with GW on the line. And they didn't compete they abused us. Dixon is a master of blocking techniques.

Giles posters a couple years ago claimed to have 3 guys sub 4.4 and I made the same argument that the top high school backs in the country barely run that..... couldn't get it through their thick heads.

There were only 9 running backs in the NFL combine this year that ran under a 4.5, but we're supposed to believe PM has 3 on the same team?

nope they shut down I got to work keep the score post for me what number were you I was the big D lineman #95

Referring to PM, when their offense is on field -nobody under 200 lbs

Justice is a man from what I've seen. I didn't see him play last season. I've watched numerous film on him he's great. I doubt I will make the almost 5 hour trip though but I might see what the fuss is all about. I would like to go see George Wythe play actually.

That's going to be one great matchup next week at The Cliff. Two really good teams and sadly one will be gone after next week. Have seen film on both and it will be an interesting game. Won't give a prediction at this point but is a game I'd love to see

Come on up we have a rematch with PH and they'll be looking for revenge.

How did that Franklin speed go tonight? Goodnight

It was put to good use you just cant look past anybody CC played there hearts out tonight down 22-0 in the third Q nobody thought they could win but them and they pulled it out I think that the last kick return for td hurt franklin they scored to fast and left to much time on the clock. we got some young guy that's just learning to play together they will be back next year.

I think I will Master Blaster. Hurley is a long drive for me, Wythe will be a drive too but not that long! Are you guys playing on Friday night or Saturday? Woodlayer I was referring to someone who said east has all the speed it might have been you I'm not sure just a joke. I am trying to make a prediction to the PM Hurley game but it's hard. Hurley is obviously loaded in the backfield just like PM is but I think that PM physical play will be a bit much for the Rebels. The PM team this season is a lot stronger and way faster than last season. The offensive line is drastically improved as well. I think it will be a shootout, I don't think it will be a 16-14 ballgame. It's a toss up for me. Both are offensive machines. I'm going PM 46 Hurley 42.
