The only negative thing I have said is how I wasted my time watching the "Beat Wilson" video and I commented on how a lot of the Richlands fan base can talk some trash(referencing the TA game as an example)
I also said its a shame that Richlands can send a radio crew but we still can't get our local guys to do a Wilson game unless we are playing Riverheads.
I believe I also said Wilson Memorial doesn't need a hype video.

For your information, Staunton's WTON ESPN 1240 requested to cover the Richlands/Wilson game and that request was denied by the Wilson Memorial Athletic director. ESPN 1240 is committed to covering ALL local high schools and this game would be the game of the year to this point for our coverage if we were given the ability to cover it live. It was stated that there was only room for one radio station. We'd love to have been the station covering the game,\ but we have to respect Wilson's Athletic Director's decision.
ESPN 1240 AM covered Wilson three times this year: Wilson at RE Lee, Stuarts Draft at Wilson, and Wilson at Riverheads. We also would have covered last weeks game, but with it originally scheduled on Friday night, against our VT/UVA Football commitments, we had to select the Saturday Waynesboro game. We even presented a pre-game tailgate show for the Wilson game that was aired on Friday night. Only did the weather delay make it a game we would have even had a chance to cover.
IF there is a football game next weekend that our local audience would be interested in, we will request access.
We look forward to covering the upcoming basketball season where we will once again cover ALL the area schools.We hope you as well as other readers on this board will tune in.

Since this game will not be on the radio locally, will it be covered online by that group that did such a great job on the Wilson/RHS game and some others this year? If so, can someone refresh our memories as to the name of that broadcaster?

The group that did those broadcasts was Telemedia group. No sure if they will do this game. Met them at the RHS/ER game and they are a really good group of people.

Why would any AD limit radio coverage. That doesn't make sense. Move the game announcer over up in the booth if you need to make room or put a tent up down on the field. From my understanding there will be two radio stations broadcasting the Glenvar/Nottoway game.

The vhsl has their TV network handle the TV and online broadcast of all state games. nfhsnetwork.Com or something like that
