I normally stay away from touting individual player awards, offers & commits because it takes more than a super star to make a team successful over the long haul.. I've witnessed how an arrogant, top player can rip apart a team, too.
Sherrod Covil makes everyone around him better and has been a true leader on this Smith team.. Today, he was awarded as an UA-Army All American and he will play in the upcoming game! I'm sure he'll represent the 757 & Virginia very well in that game!
