Union only led by 3 points at halftime in this game as VH had a solid first half, then Union exploded in the second half led by Bradley Bunch, the 25 point per game scorer for the Bears who it 6'6 and was their High School QB. He took the game over in the 3rd quarter and Union led by 25 points with 4 minutes left in the 4th quarter. With 2 minutes left in the game, the Bears led by 23 points and pulled their starters, and VH went on an 11-2 run in the last 2 minutes to cut the final margin of victory to 14 points. No offense to Virginia High who is a good team, but this game was more like a 25-27 point win for Union instead of a final 14 point win if Union doesn't pull it's starters.
