Difference between you and I is you never changed up on your guys. I think I gave too much credit to Huguenot and not enough to Varina. That’s on me.

We all make mistakes. I honestly can’t believe Huguenot went out like that but I understand why it happened. I didn’t know before the game Huguenot stood on Varina logo talked 💩 and clapped at the crowd smh that’s a recipe for disaster against any team. Warwick & Lake Taylor did that to us and neither of them scored as well
I had Varina and Dinwiddie over Huguenot all year just because I thought those teams were more physical. Even last night you could see Huguenot's athletes are scary, but that physical "Umph" they just never had.
@BoKnowsSports East End Henrico still proving to be the hotbed of VA football. But seriously what HSHS and Varina has been doing is crazy impressive. Hats off to the Springers for keeping Glen Allen their place.
Take this as you will but I do believe this is what happens when you schedule a very weak schedule it's great for your team numbers during regular season but when you have avoided comp all season what do you think is going to happen when you have off against teams who understand who you are meaning you play weak teams and can't compete with the big dogs schedule harder teams to be ready for the post season how you go undefeated and still not have the #1 seed that's bc of your comp them RT 5boyz didn't care about none of that and it showed this not rec football
You’re not wrong but it isn’t that easy. Dominion District teams only have 1 OOD game available. It was too much ra ra before the game and not enough substance. I’m not a fan of all the pregame nonsense, I know that is what they do in AAU football but I’d like to keep a line of delineation from rec ball. Next year Huguenot can likely get a big OOD game if they choose to.
I was told today someone asked a Huguenot representative why they arrived to the game 20 mins prior and didn’t warm up he said the response was and I quote “Greatness don’t need to be shown before a game” idk if it’s true but if so mane that’s embarrassing. Then to stand on the Mid field logo and talk trash before the game is WILD

And that statement about greatness is beyond wild when you have won absolutely nothing. Hopefully they grow from that because ain’t nobody just laying down in the damn playoffs.
