Hmmmm...here we go again? There are some pros and cons to this list.
No Appomattox players on Offense after going 15-0? State Champions?!!! I am still SMH over hear? Not at OLineman? Nothing???
Again, why is Buster Henderson getting props at LB and not WR??? He played 50% of the time! WR is where he made his money at! Then on top of that, he was named Defensive Player of the Year? Delonta Kelso at least got named to the list, but he was a better LB than Buster this year. JMU is coming in to talk with Buster on Thursday in hopes of a scholarship offer.
Why is Deven Dews on the list 2x as DB? He is going to University of Charleston if yall missed it in a earlier post.
Glad they gave Matt Page props as well! He named 2nd team QB behind John Luke Asbury (well deserved). I think its funny Matt was named News & Advance (Central Virginia newspaper) Offensive Player of the year (YES, that is all players in 1A,2A,3A,4A in this area), but he dont get any shine on the All state balloting because a running qb (Joe Reed) got named 1st team All Conference. The coaches that named Joe Reed from Randolph Henry the top QB in conference when he threw probably 5 passes all season are a JOKE, and Im calling yall out! He should have been ALL Purpose All State, Region, Conference 1st Team. In saying that, how did Joe Reed get looked over on this coaches poll??? He is no where??
