If my math is correct, the top 9 teams have clinched a spot in the playoffs. Still 2-3 games left for everybody. Hidden Valley(Salem and CS), Heritage(Bville and Liberty) and Liberty(Heritage and JF) can do the most damage as far gaining more points as each team has two more games against teams with at least 6 wins already. This will be one of the closest races for seeding of all classes. Could foresee 5 or 6 teams with 24-25 points at seasons end fighting for that homefield throughout. I doubt the seedings will stay this way, but if they did, Brookville-Monticello would be interesting as would MV vs LB and Cburg-CS rematch as well. Only a few more weeks till the tournaments beings, can't wait. Good Luck to All

Now you can see that playing a weak schedule might affect seeding for the playoffs.

I agree you are better off to play a stronger schedule. Look at LB they play several 2A teams and no longer play Salem. They are heading towards the bubble if not already there and have to play a tough William Fleming team this week.

There really doesnt seem to be a clear cut favorite in 3A West this year but there a lot of good football teams in that top 10-12 so it should be a real battle come playoff time in November. As you said one man i agree the seedings will probably change some over the next few weeks but we'll see how it plays out. Thanks for the info.good stuff.
