I didn’t think Hampton’s defense would allow that much ball control, 35 of 48 minutes to Warhill. Hampton gave Phoebus all they could handle. Both DP reporters had Hampton by a TD. Hope the game will be on Saturday afternoon.
Honestly, your inability to give any other BRD team any credibility is why you're surprised. The fact that Warhill beat Lafayette for the first time in the history of Warhill's existence doesn't sit well with you.
Warhill has an exceptional ball control offense. They don't have a passing attack and that's going to spell doom eventually. But their defense is going to keep them in games. Kings Fork is going to be an interesting matchup. I expected KF to run Deep Creek out of the parking lot by halftime.
Don't count out the Lions.
Marty O’Brien and the other DP reporter both had Hampton as a TD favorite in the game. In my book that makes the Warhill win an upset. Nothing to do with my giving “credibility “.

And that pick is based solely off of history. Those days are over. I still stand by my comments. Not an upset. And you've never been able to utter the words that any other team that has beaten the Rams was "just the better team"...it's always excuse laden. It's OK..."fan" is the shortened form of "fanatic", we accept that.
Well, in the past when we lost to Dinwiddie, Louisa, Courtland and James Monroe in the playoffs they were the better team that day. I’m sure our win against Lord Botetourt last May would be considered an upset. I have no problem with that. You can stand by your comments, their wrong. And I’m not particularly concerned with what others accept or not. It’s my opinion and that’s thst.
No, actually, I disagree, I firmly believed LHS's win against LB wasn't an upset. I also believe that the Rams were, in fact the best 3A team in the state last year. Y'all made an incredible run. I have also felt there were years in the past that you were upset, you SHOULD have won a state title. But, we play the games for a reason.

I’m impressed you remember I’m from Jersey, where strong opinions are the norm. But we have different opinions and let it be at that. After watching Lafayette for 24 years I would never pretend not to be a little biased. Some day at one of our games we should meet finally, we have both been on here for 20 or so years, a long time.
LOL...How could I NOT remember that you're from Jersey...you remind us a few times each year! And...my intelligence level and memory recall (for now) is well above average. It's all good.
