Waynesboro beat RE Lee tonight for the first time since 1997. Waynesboro also beat Lee in 1995, which was their last win of the 90s vs Lee. This series hasnt had a whole lot of back and forth over the years as it tends to go in decades as Lee has ruled the 2000's, the 90's, most of the 70's, and the 60s (1 tie and 1 loss), with the Little Giants ruling the 50's and the 80's. But this rivalry appears to be ending at least on the gridiron due to district and classification changes. Its only fitting that the last matchup was a battle.
