Week 07 Virginia 6A North Pick Em Contest Results
There were 13 games and 8 participants in Week 07 Contest. There were only two upsets among the 13 games, so the contest was an easy one. There were 6 winners who picked 11 correct winners out of possible 13, and the other two participants picked 10 winners.
The two upsets were the Chantilly-Oakton and James Madison-South Lakes games. Congratulations to Chantilly and South Lakes! I wish someone could have wrote articles about these games.
Robinson vs Westfield
Robinson nearly pulled a upset over Westfield. Westfield trailed Robinson 28-19 with a little over 4 minutes remaining. Westfield had to block Robinson’s punt, move the ball 79 yards to score a TD with 1:47 remaining, and then pull a successful onside kick before Westfield kicker Brian Delany kicked a 42-yard FG to put Westfield ahead as the game clock ran out.
