WP will beat Rapp (again) in the playoffs if they draw each other, especially on a dry field. WP had 330 yards rushing to Rapp's 36 and the entire second half was played on slop. #44 still had over 130 yards rushing in the second half against Rapp on a field that should not have been played on. In contrast, and to their credit, Rapp had 220 yards passing to WP -2. "IF" WP ever fixes their pass coverage, Rapp's pass game won't be enough to overcome WP's rushing game. "IF" WP fixes their pass coverage, CB will not beat WP at a second meeting. The caveat is, of course, if key players remain healthy, since WP only has 21 players on their roster.

I beg to differ. There were a couple years in a row when the Roane brothers played for WP where the fans were horrible. The one year when Antonio Roane broke Franklin's Center's leg, the game had to be cancelled by the officials because the fans were threatening the team and fans. The WP fans, players and coaches had to be escorted out by the State Police. The marching band director marched the band to block the parking lot between the lockers and our buses and refused to move the band and the band members and Franklin parents dared anyone to walk through the band. The team, coaches and cheerleaders had to walk all the way around the parking lot to get on the buses. Just the year prior, the fans were very friendly to WP fans.
W&L coaches were at the WP vs Rapp game. If they paid attention to how WP held Rapp to 36 yards, then all W&L has to focus on is defending Rapp's pass game. But I also think Rapp will take the W.
If Northumberland plays like the did last week CB will win they are a physical team much more than W&L

Im assuming WP is west point I can't recall WP Franklin playing in a playoff game this had to have happened between 07 to 09 wasn't in the area so I didn't attend any games but I did watch Franklin 08 title game vs clintwood but im sorry if this happened and your felt threaten im going have to look this up

I was speaking of Rushing yards. The WP and Rapp yards I quoted were only rushing yards.
I think it was during the regular season. Fan conduct should not matter whether it’s regular season or playoffs.
WP won despite not adjusting their D pass coverage to Rapp’s passing game. The 1Q was played on a Friday and the 2Q was played on a Monday. WP had the entire weekend to fix their pass coverage and the came out in the 2Q on Monday and didn’t make a single change. That is the only reason it was 13-13. And it’s the main reason WP lost to CB. Like I said, if WP fixes their pass coverage (and learns how to make D adjustments during the game) neither CB or Rapp will beat WP in the playoffs if they have everyone healthy.
Pretty bold to call someone on social media a liar who was there (with hundreds of other witnesses). It happened just as I described and it was started when Franklin’s Center went to block Aaron Roane at LB and Aaron cut him at the LOS and broke his leg. There was no flag. Franklin players and fans thought it was a dirty play and Franklin players started targeting Roane once the game resumed and eventually fighting broke out on the field and the benches cleared and Franklin fans came onto the field. The refs called the game, I believe late in 3Q.

The Armory has them shook for sure , i quess its time for them to bash you guys in hopes of getting attention from VHSL so they have the game relocated. Some attempts this every year with Essex come playoff time. Its hilarious.
Yeah its sad..samething everytime franklin has a winning season or a threat for home field..like i said before the tri rivers district is full of classless schools..man i miss that 03-05 sussex vs franklin hostile environment..rose vs babb..you couldnt leave the armory or sussex alive..trash talk all the way to and from the car...lol..Because we all knew part 2 was coming in the playoffs

So let me get this straight. WP didn't adjust to Rapps passing game and didn't adjust to CB's passing game which is below avg? Wouldn't one come to think that WP doesn't have the tools to defend the pass properly and still defend the run as well as they do?
Maybe they can't defend the passing game and sorry to inform you but KW will be a problem if they still can't defend the pass b/c they move the ball in the air better than CB.

I am fairly sure that Northumberland and Rappahannock have never played each other in a big game like that for the possible NND title.
Rapp has a great band that is fun too. NHS should bring their band as well to celebrate the big event....Gotta win tonight to make it happen though....
