@BoKnowsSports, I feel you on this and cannot fully disagree. I really like Matoaca's athletes, but if Bird plays like the old Bird and just plays down right physical then the Warriors will cave. I look for Matoaca to try and score fast and often. Pace of the game is key here. If the Skyhawks can establish the power game it's over. The Warriors are just too soft.

I agree! It's unfortunate to say the least. The crazy thing is that this particular case could have ramifications for years to come.

I'm thinking that King George will be able to score on Dinwiddie but they won't get enough stops. I'm picking Dinwiddie.

One thing is for sure......this is going to be our coldest game of the year, so bundle up. We have been quite lucky so far with weather but the daytime high Friday is supposed to be in the upper 40s which of course doesn't sound bad. But it is going to be quite windy and you can imagine how that will feel after dark. They are even calling for a chance of light snow Thursday night but it will be over by Friday morning with no more expected.

That wind may affect the passing game of both teams, but since both prefer to run the ball, that might not be much of a factor.

Obviously film helped to narrow it down after the fact. Im not saying I noticed everything at game time.

You also need to factor in that I am used to looking up at clock. Either way doesn't matter.

Turner Ashby will be by far the best team Alleghany has played & Alleghany will be by far the best team Turner Ashby has played. Neither team's defense has given us much this year but both will face a much better offense than they have played so far. Either way I really hope the winner beats LCA!!!
