I was literally standing on the end zone line right down the LOS. The RB was initially stopped short, whistle blew, the runner then crawls into end zone after the whistle. Not that it mattered, Union couldn’t move the ball in second half but the dropped INT in the end zone was the play that could have sealed it n

Refs had some questionable calls but SR was tough as nails. GW’s QB is a good kid but you can’t throw a lateral on 4th and 5 with a minute left on the clock. I’m not coming at the young man but gotta play like a 3 year starter if GW wants to win Region D. Big win for the Eagles without their best defensive player.

The Waynesboro/Buffalo Gap game has also now been moved to 1:00 Saturday. So to the best of my knowledge, there are no games in this area still on for tonight. Weather is still nasty now but expected to improve by early morning, so any Saturday afternoon game will hopefully be tolerable.

Don't forget the Hokies game tonight on ESPN, assuming they are still on down in Miami.

SR is a Senior dominated team very scrappy bunch their having a good year they gave Jefferson Forest all they wanted also

SR was VERY physical on defense. Lots of guys going both ways but they still looked good in the fourth.

Well to be fair Hopewell gave up 2 big plays which ended in scores their Def have played very well all season 22pts was the most they have given up all year also kept Dalton under 100yrds rushing and at times got to him as well onyx the off comes alive hopefully soon they might just be a sleeper team in class 3

Our AD is pretty sharp and I am quite certain he reads the board. So I suspect this will be taken care of.

They are not beating KW this season. Page and Stonewall should be good games. Agree 100% on the brutal opening schedule.

Raptors have had a grueling schedule so far. It luckily gets a lot easier from here. They're at Page, host King William (they are 0-5 but are a LOT better than that, should be a good game), host Loudoun Valley (they're good), then at Culpeper, hosting Stonewall Jackson, then Maret in DC. Could definitely see 3 or maybe 4 wins in the back half. Such a brutal schedule for an inaugural season but the kids I am sure will be better for it next year.

Danville has a very big game next Friday at Magna Vista. If they can win, the 4D playoffs will more than likely run through Danville, VA. It’s always huge to not have to go 5 hours up 81 to Winchester and play.

4D seems to be very competitive this year. I think it’ll make for a fun playoff
