Radford and Graham results

We didn't look to bad considering we had a bunch of new starters. Byrd beat us 4 Tds to none for the first half of starters. Byrd is an awesome team. I think the Bobcats are going to be better than expected. Byrd lost in the 3A semi's last season. Our QB is a new starter and is going to be good and we are going to move the ball on lots of teams when these new guys develop cohesion and timing. William Byrd looked better than any team we played last year.

Princeton, WV, the runner up WV AAA state champions beat Graham 3 tds to 2 tds in their one half scrimmage in Princeton. WV has now expanded to 4 classifications this season and Princeton will be a 3A school out of 4 total classifications and likely the early season AAA favorite in WV according to swvasports.com.
This is the best Princeton team I have ever seen in my 50 years of watching football in this area, they are big, physical and fast. Graham has good size, speed and athleticism as well. The running game is a bit of a concern for them at this point. They had trouble protecting the QB at times, but Princeton's line was massive and they had tremendous team speed Not likely to face that kind of pressure during the season. I think it will come down to Graham and Union in region D once again

@General172011, are you getting good vibes on this Dinwiddie team. I know the leadership and discipline is greatly improved from last season. Maybe just maybe the Generals will make a run. Lot of football to be played.

Andre Clarke was on the field tonight. I believe he was wearing #6. He had a touchdown on a fade ball. He played a little into the 2nd half (maybe the first drive or 2).
Both teams looked very athletic. Shoutout to whoever scheduled this scrimmage. Think it was a good test for them both. Herm came out with more energy and it showed. However I was surprised how it looked like no one from the Huguenot sideline panicked and they stayed the course. Huguenots run game started to open up midway through the second and they had a stable of guys that run well. Herm alternated QBs as well, I think the offense ran smoother with the running QB in. I believe that was the starter from last year.
Gotha someone told me he wore a different number.

I think Salem just made them look that bad. Unfortunately, I don't see Brookville winning any more than 3-5 games. I saw Heritage last night against Fleming. With that QB I could see them winning 6-8 games. I could be wrong on both, but that’s my read. I should see LCA next week. I like getting to see these Seminole teams. Might see Glass or JF in the playoffs as well.
Thanks for your take on the game Mike and your honest opinion. Unfortunately we are not the Brookville of old anymore and I think a lot of Bees fans were expecting Lineburg to perform a miracle in a years time, just not gonna happen. And why in the world they keep scheduling you guys every year for a scrimmage or benefit game just goes beyond me. It does nothing but break the kids down to start the season every year.

@BoKnowsSports Go check out the 1st half of the Hermitage and Huguenot scrimmage when you get a chance.

Hermitage might be finally putting it together. They are ATHLETIC. They used a running QB and a throwing qb. I'm pretty sure the runner will be the starter. Also I'm pretty sure Andre Clark wasn't on the field.

Huguenot didn't look bad though. They will probably have to lean on the run early. Scott looked uncomfortable after throwing an early pick.

Hermitage went up 20-0 before Huguenot scored twice late in the 1st half. 20-16 starters vs starters.
I thought the same thing, only thing that still worries me about Herm is the coaching in crunch time. I must admit though, that’s the best I’ve seen them look in a long time. Hopefully they can continue to piece it together. I’ve said it before and I’m going to continue to say it, The 804 is better when all 5 Powerhouses are good!!

Roster lists him at 6'2" 275. That seems more accurate. I've seen him several times the last couple of weeks and he definitely doesn't look 6'6. He's still growing and ultimately he might end up that big, but not yet. He's a player though for sure!
With cleats and helmet he looks 6'6, but I'm only 5 '9 so everybody looks 6 6 to me...lol...when they over sweep to his side God help the D.E.
