Heritage Strength: QB play, Slash will stretch the field.

You only have 8 semesters of eligibility once your a freshman unless you go private and get reclassified. Then if you come back to public school you lose the reclassification. Ex. Soph goes to private school and gets classified as a freshman. Then returns back to public school after 2 seasons he will be a senior.

Most likely did it in middle school as that’s the only way to avoid losing out on your 8 consecutive semesters.

So what’s the big fuss still about — the season is about to start in approximately one week. They have had a team established and been practicing/scrimmaging already so I’m pretty sure the roster is set for the season, if the rules have been bent I’m sure they have dotted every I and crossed every T before they open regular season play (administration all the way down). At the end of the day you still gotta beat them within the white lines.

Not too high over the performance last evening and not too low over the one a week ago at TA. There were positives in both games as well as opportunities for teaching moments. As the saying goes, its not how you start but how you finish. I am looking for progression on the season with an outside chance at making a state run.

LOL, it will be a repeat of last year with Bath.....blowing bad teams out, finish the season with a great record (not taking anything away from them) but then a MED team travels to Bath 1st road of playoff and beats the breaks off of them. After looking at the Master schedule (very winnable) I can see Craig Co also finishing well; possible top half of the region hosting another MED school and losing by 30. Both school have set up their schedule "nice." The MED schools have a much tougher out of district schedules and beat-up on each other, several solid teams ending the year at 5-5 or 6-4 but having to travel first round........Galax traveled to Bath Co first round last year and we know how that played out. I see the same thing this year; well IDK that Galax wins it all again but def in the discussion; until they aren't.

Not sure you can say "There's no coaches there" (at Bland). Coach Hart is back, he always puts a well organized team on the field; I didn't say most skilled but well organized and play hard. While Hart was gone Bland football was a dumpster fire or didn't exist at all. I agree the Calfee kid at Craig is a good ball player but not sure he wins games by himself. I also, agree Craig might be in a better place this season, but small schools always go through cycles.

Just some blow hard running his mouth . Can't call yourself Single A Fan, but in turn, badmouth just about every team in the region.

Don't feel bad about a performance against Turner Ashby. They have some studs.
