1A East Regionals are a joke!!!

Why not just call it the Alta Vista Invitational tourney? I smell the home court cooking in the air!!! I guess there were no neutral sites in all of Virginia to have tourney, but Alta Vista? SMH

My guess is that the ADs in 1A East would have had some say in it. Just a guess though. Maybe Altavista volunteered and no one else wanted it this year.....or maybe they'll be rotating it over the years???

you are right Gtown it's a rotation. This is the first time in many hears Altavista has hosted these games Altavista has had to travel up in the valley for the last 8 years

The issue is

the girls semis and finals were scheduled for William Campbell. with the exception if two non-conference 44 teams were involved. But, since Altavista's boys and girls are in the finals I guess someone made the decision to play the girls game there also.
