Time for Altavista to move up to 2A!

Re: Altavista awaiting their hardware

Time for other schools to improve their programs and catch up to AltaVista.

Re: Altavista awaiting their hardware

Altavista had an insane amount of talent come through in one class, especially for a small school. They will take a big drop next year. They will always be good as long as Coach C is there though, but not like the past 3 years.

Re: Altavista awaiting their hardware

Definitely one of the best coaches in the state. He's won games in different ways based on matchups and personnel. They will at least keep getting shots because their conference is pretty weak (although it might get a little tougher next year b/c I think they add Riverheads and Luray).

Re: Altavista awaiting their hardware

I think they are one player away for next year. Good role players back I think, but they need someone to step up and be a big scorer.

Re: Altavista awaiting their hardware

I was wondering if they were mainly seniors this year. Sounds like they might be. As for next year, I know they will be in the same conference with Riverheads, which is insane, considering the distance. But if Luray is in that same conference, and I don't know one way or another, that would border on being certifiable!

Re: Altavista awaiting their hardware

I believe I am correct in saying that Luray is staying in 35 and Page is switching next yr. to 36...at leas that is what I was told or I read it somewhere...I hope that is the case..personally, I think Page has more in common with those teams then they do those in NOVA

Re: Altavista awaiting their hardware

Woww....Stonewall Jackson-Mt.Jackson is in with Altavista....not only a long drive, but, safe to say over matched in most sports...and Luray also, a long drive...really doesn't make much sense
