20-2 regular season for Honaker Girls

At this point I can't see how the Tiger Girls aren't a favorite. 20-2 Regular season finish 8-0 in district play. Losses to tazwell ( head scratcher) and a very strong Lebanon team. I think a Lebanon could be a finalist in this years playoffs.
Way to go Ladies it's time to raise your game now.

I have to disagree with you on honaker. Yes they have a 20-2 record but through out that schedule(which was week)they have not been tested all year. The one team that they did play that was really good was Lebanon and they lost by 17. So at this point we really don’t knw if Honaker is legit or not.

Honaker is really young, they played Wise Central in a benefit game at UVA wise and lost by 2. They beat Ridgeview by 8. I think the potential is there.

Yeah. They are young I must agree with you. I will tell you I think GW will be a force over the next 2years or so. There young this year as well and there schedule was brutal and I believe right now there 18-5.....beat Lebanon 4, beat Galax, by 8 and went 2-1 losing in the championship game in the Christmas tournament down in Gatlinburg TN, they are a Sophomore lead team so it will be interesting how it all plays out over the next few seasons.

I admit the schedule hasn't been as tough but still only 2 losses and Honaker had a win over Ridgeview. That along with playing wise in a close one should suggest that Honaker is capable
