2012 Southern Slam

Please take a minute to look at our tournament The Southern Slam for next season. We are located in Greenville, SC directly between Charlotte and Atlanta (90 minutes from each). Here are some quick selling points:



Tournament:

- Nov. 30-Dec. 1

- 10 Mats

- 40 teams (5 states represented)

- Spotlight finals

- Place 1st-8th (medals, shirts, MMA shorts, 4ft. brackets for champions), medals/plaques for 2nd-8th

- Team trophy for 1st-3rd, returning champion has entry fee waived the following year.

- Done at 6:00 PM Sat., fast and very efficient!



Teams confirmed for next year:

- ALL 4 SC State Championship teams (AAAA - Hillcrest, AAA - BHP, AA - Hannahan, A - Bamberg)

- ALL 3 SC State Tournament Championship teams (AAAA - Lexington, AAA - Eastside, AA/A - Bamberg)

- Other teams of note (Archer, GA/Parkview, GA/Davie County, NC/Bradley Central, TN)



Individuals from last year:

- 28 State Champions

- 94 State Placers



For coaches:

- Tournament pullover/windbreaker

- Free coaches social at host hotel. Past year was gumbo, lowcountry boil, and beverages.

- Outstanding hospitality room
