2021-2022 Mid-Cycle Adjustment (804 Schools)
The VHSL in September will be setting the alignment for the 2021-2022, 2022-2023 seasons... obviously this would not pertain to this fall(if there is a season) but rather the following year. Here are some interesting items to consider...
Manchester has an ADM number of 2076 which is over the 5% threshold so they would have to move back to Class 6.
Atlee, Henrico, Matoaca and Varina can all request to play down in Class 4 due to their changing numbers.
James River who is currently in Class 6 could request to play in Class 5.
Just something to keep your eyes on as Region 5B could be seeing some shifts... Can you imagine Region 5B losing Manchester, Henrico and Varina?
