Pizzzzza did an excellent job as he usually does all the time. I just like to say a few things on the games. First what is the deal at Magna Vista? Was not expecting to see some of their players acting the way they did. Not listing to the coach, sitting on the floor after being taken out of game or fouling out and mouthing off. No discipline what so ever. Kind of reminded of some Harrisonburg teams. Northside on the other side did really well and are going to give the Blazers another big challenge to overcome. Great game by Northside..congrats... William Byrd gave Spotswood all they could handle and some. But the Wood held on in a really hard fought battle. I think if they knock down those free throws in the first half maybe it would have been easier down the stretch. Missed FTs help Byrd hang around and they hit some big time 3s that kept the game close. Congrats to them on a good season. The Wood played hard and stayed focused enough to pull it out. Rebounded pretty decent against Byrd's big men. We will have a problem if Kier doesn't get his back spasms and leg soreness better real soon. A win on Friday will give them a better chance at playing for the title come next week. A loss would match them with probably GW. But no matter what they are going to give their all.
