Any word out of the February 1st VHSL Executive Committee Meeting?

Hello all.

There's no doubt that the VHSL website is a flaming pile of hot garbage and it's hard to find anything newsworthy on there if you're a novice. Even for those who know how to navigate it, it's can be very messy.

But I was wondering if there were any happenings of note that came from the February 1st Executive Committee Meeting? They aren't the most prudent group of folks in Charlottesville when it comes to updating their site.

Hopefully there was some good conversation fodder for the board to help get us through the Spring.

the only item of interest was the placing of Mecklenburg into Region 4D

Maybe nothing earth shaking for football but a few big items on there for other sports. Any idea how the votes turned out for any of these?

Page 17 in the attachment above is the only direct alteration concerning football. It simply cleared the way to better allow the six classifications to use the 40 quarter rule for JV players, or to use the 48 quarter rule.
