Appo vs Radford

That is fair on helmet to helmet. There was contact to the head and it was launched. Should that be personal foul? The rule is what it is. If NFHS is concerned about player safety then all the rules should line up on this one. I still stand by the fact Radford walks away from this game with more concussions than any other team we play. Not saying it is on purpose but it has happened two years in a row so it is a trend. And to be fair, one of our linebackers leads with his helmet often and it is a problem that needs to be fixed. This isn't sour grapes. My gripe is that people were getting on Crist about the way he reacted. I don't know many good coaches that wouldn't react to defend their players.
Just reviewed a thing or two and Radford coaches are on the field during a snap twice that i could see in first quarter so they got away with that. Should i continue to review and pull out more penalties not called against radford? never mind the fact they also got 4 timeouts in 2nd half. Kroger has cheese on sale this week to go with sour wine.

Very odd that WSET friday football shows a clip of a hit that caused a fumble by the sideline. Amazingly it's very clear and closeup with no helmet contact!! Sour grapes do not make good wine.
when I go to their website I can't find the clip. I can only find video of the Amherst game. can you share the link?

Let me clear up a couple things

1. I was right in front of the hit and no way in hell its targeting...kid got drilled and fumbled...Radford fans quit crying about it

2. As a Giles fan I seriously doubt Clifford hates Giles...wants to beat us every game(as usually does now) bur always talks good about us...talked to him a couple times and nothing but good things....plus his son roomed with a Giles star at Ferrum and had him over for dinner often....does that sound like hate?

You radgord fans(not all of you) just wanna make excuses and cry when you lose but facts are your coach is a joke and 2 of your better players are talented but they are me players and spoiled ass babies

Thanks Toughy299. No one was benched. Thanks for clearing that up.

Glenvar staying on the field for over 45min. So what? The huge win of beating a big favorite in 2C was being celebrated by players, parents and coaches. Probably taking some photos and giving each other hugs, and at Radford we just can't have that from the opposing team. You make it sound like Glenvar players, coaches, and fans were deliberately trespassing so the police had to get involved and force them leave. Sounds pretty petty to me.

On the last part...Just ask the fans of Giles if our coach hates them. There has been nothing but mutual respect between the two teams for many years now. Do a google search on what our coach has said about Giles recently and in the past. I recall nothing but praise and adoration.
When I went Radford I wasn’t allowed on the field. The field was for football players and soccer players during game time. Literally been to hundreds of games and never has witnessed such actions. I’m betting Radford wouldn’t be allowed to stay on your field a extra 45 minutes. Remember what goes around comes around. Further are you calling your player a liar?? The quote is in the article.

I couldn't figure out why Radford got four time outs in second half either. Went back and checked and yes they used four time outs in second half. Was even announced when they took their last time out and then got another one on Appos last procession. I wondered that during the game but no one mentioned it.

Kids say dumb things that aren't always true. I've raised and coached enough teenagers to know. The quote is taken out of context and I will refer you to Spartanfan334 only few posts up if you'd like to know the truth.

You also spewing this nonsense and what sounds like a threat ("what comes around goes around") in order to take blame away from the Radford coach and some of his players is a classic case of projecting onto others instead of accepting responsibility for ones own behavior. This is the last time I'll comment on this. Like I said...your circus.
