Congratulations to Coach Mark Drinkard and the Appomattox County volleyball team as they rallied from a 2-0 deficit to win the final set to take the Class 2 State championship on Saturday. The Raiders' 3-2 come-from-behind victory over Bruton was the program's first-ever state championship. Via set scores of 22-25, 22-25, 25-18, 25-16, 15-13 with the final point coming on a double touch by the Panthers.
