Hovey Field at Virginia Union is site of a big game in the City of Richmond this week with two of the flagships of the city battling in a key Region 3B battle as Thomas Jefferson at 7-0 is the top seed and Armstrong at 5-2 is the 4th seed currently.
Also, TJ has a chance at history as no TJ team has ever been 8-0 and this is just the third time they've been 7-0.
Last year the Vikings were 7-0 before losing to Glen Allen in a heartbreaker in overtime. In 1955 the Vikings were 7-0 before losing to Washington & Lee. Meanwhile the Wildcats of Armstrong are off to their best start since 2014.
