actually got this idea from I think the 5A board. In 1A who has the most unique gameday experience for fans. Best and Worst facilities, Best student sections, Best and worst crowds, Best and worst playing field, Best and Worst concession stands etc etc

Well you have opened up the field for quite a wide variety of comments. I might suggest that we stick just to the positives because I don't see anything to be gained by criticizing any school for the way they handle things. So here are some comments I will throw out in random order just to get the party started.

1) Riverheads is known for its fireworks display to start each game, even if the game is played in daylight hours.

2) The concession stand at Mountain View has a way of coming up with things that you don't see in an average high school. Also one time about ten years ago, I was fascinated down at James River (Buchanan) when I saw how popular their baked potatoes were at a basketball game. Wonder if they still have those?

3) One of the loudest crowds and best student sections I remember from recent years was Lord Botetourt when we went down there in September 2021.

4) Although I don't think I will ever get to see it in person, the setting and the field at Hurley sounds so interesting that I might like to go just so I could say I have been. Definitely wayyyy out there wedged between Kentucky and West Virginia.

5) As for best facilities, the general rule is that the newer the school, the nicer, so here in the valley, that honor goes to East Rockingham since the school is now about 11 years old I believe. Their athletic complex is great.

Louisa is unique with the Lion. Concession stand no one stands out. Fanatic fans, town, entire community Gate City. Facilities I’ve attended at one time Millbrook. Most practice facilities I’ve seen, stadium huge.

I agree with you about Hurley. That has to be a unique place. It’s on my bucket list, even with a 664 mile round trip from my front door.

How is the game day experience at Galax? I suspect that can be a rocking place?
