Very entertaining game. The students really put energy into the game. My Dawgs just have to avoid the silly miscues. Overall, I liked the hustle and effort that the Dawgs displayed 2nite. The line up, that they had in most of the 2nd half really paid dividends. I think, I would start that line up the rest of the week and just see what happens. Give Dasyne more playing time.

Dasyne stepped up his game last night, hit some shots and was his typical disruptive self on D, but I would keep the starting lineup as is. Dasyne gives a big jolt of energy when he comes in off the bench. I just think he's the perfect 6th man for the Dogs.

You have a point but the boys seem to have a bit more chemistry with him in there. I guess we'll see how it plays out.

I asked the same thing, and never got the same answer. Just my opinion but when you have the same refs time and time again I think it lends itself to more confrontations between them and certain players who wear their emotions on their sleeves. Not saying the refs were wrong but some like to become part of the game instead of just calling it. You know of whom I speak.

Yes, I know whom you speak of. I just hope that Bennett can maintain his composure. We need his skill set on the court and not the bench. What are your thoughts of Pettway possibly being PD POY?

He's as good as there is in the district. Offensively he's more well rounded this year, a true point guard and can get to the rim almost anytime he wants and he is a terror on D. But these awards always seem to be a popularity contest, so who knows. Taylor from Franklin Co has had a good year, Wells from MV also, and the Bulletin seems to be in love with Bassett so maybe Brown or Ziglar might be in the mix. TJ is just as deserving as anyone. Also the Wilson kid from GW

Wilson’s very good but Nyrek Wheeler is a beast for GW. He’s averaging a double double. 6’5 and makes good decisions.
