Moir's 31 leads Richlands over Abingdon in OT
In a race to the finish, Race Moir scored 31 points to set the pace as the Richlands Blue Tornado crossed the finish line with a 76-71 overtime boys basketball win over the Abingdon Falcons on Wednesday night.
Richlands trailed 55-51 in the fourth quarter, but rallied to force overtime. The Blues then outscored Abingdon, 14-9, in the extra session.
Cade Berry added 10 points for Richlands.
The trip of Trent Cox (14 points), Ean Bassham (11 points) and Thomas Francisco (10 points) were the leading scorers for Abingdon.
