Steele's buzzer-beater lifts Lebanon over Richlands
Preston Steele dropped in a 3-pointer at the buzzer to lead Lebanon to a 54-53 win over previously unbeaten Richlands on Tuesday in a Southwest District boys basketball game.
Steele finished with 11 points as Adam Hooker led the Pioneers with 20.
Richlands jumped out to a 15-5 first-quarter lead and led the Pioneers at the half 36-16.
Lebanon outscored Richlands 38-17 in the second half for the win.
George Cole led the Blue Tornado with 13 points.
There are no undefeated boys basketball teams left in far Southwest Virginia.
