GC went away from going inside where they were getting easy layups and has started chucking up deep shots and cant connect. Went from a GC 7 pt lead to a Radford 8 pt lead in a matter of a couple minutes.
SEMIFINAL: Radford 36, Gate City 30 halftime. Bobcats trailed by 7 early but 18-3 run turns tables. Jones 11, Cormany 10, Morton-Robertson 9.

GC settling for way too many 3s. If they will work for quality shots this will be a good game all the way to the finish. If not Raddy will go on another run in the 2nd half and put it out of reach.
Looks like Zac needs to step up and put this team on his shoulders....he's capable of it!
Hes capable but hes struggling mightily tonight. GC went 4 or 5 possessions straight of terrible 3 pt shots between Zac and Dean that werent even close. Zac is way off so far overall! Will see what happens in the 2nd half.
Great season for the Devils....just come up a little short. Good luck to the Bobcats in the championship. Safe travels to everyone heading back home.

He's waited his turn for a state title....East Rock stands in the way, though.
I think early on this season it looked like Radford and East Rockingham. The west was stronger overall, but Radford is loaded. East Rock is the best of the east, which is ok too. Tonight the Eagles hit 6 3 pointers, and dominated the paint. Jefferson is a double double all-state player, with Nickel as probably the best 2A freshman. Should be a great final if East Rock can get the game to the 4th as still a toss up. The Eagles are a good free throw shooting team and in close games down the stretch it often comes down to that.
If they win this year it gives several of the players 3 rings. I think you got 2 Radcats? Any other group at Radford have more than 2?
