Byrd should be up big. They have moved the ball well, but penalties and fumbles have killed them. Byrd is TOUGH and can hit! They are for sure a playoff team.

I would have to disagree with the should be up big part, boss. JF has had ample mistakes of their own in clutch situations. It’s preseason, that’s what it is for... iron out the kinks. They’re finally just playing some decent defense which they haven’t done in years.

Y’all have a good looking line. Cupit, Blake, Hackworth, and Harris should get some big yard behind that line. That offense will be kicking.

Wasn’t trying to diss JF at all, just telling what I saw.

I love every year Byrd is overlooked and then they still surprise everyone as a playoff team that usually has home field.

I think a big reason for that is that they aren’t as flashy or have the athlete that other schools do but they play more physical than most other teams and they wear them down.
