The Maroons topped the Maroon Tide in the Region 1C semifinals to reach their second straight state tournament.George Wythe (23-3) plays district rival Fort Chiswell (20-5) in the region championship Saturday at Northside High School in Roanoke.
Galax finished the season 19-4.
Fort Chiswell 53, Narrows 45
The Pioneers are headed to their third straight state tournament after fending off the Green Waves in the Region 1C semifinals in Max Meadows.Fort Chiswell (20-5) will play George Wythe (23-3) in Saturday's region title game at Northside High School.
Narrows finished the season 18-6
