The crazy thing is without JM, class 2 would be so wide open this year. Any of the other 7 teams in the state tournament could beat the other on any given night, plus there's some other good teams like Wise, Gretna, Dan River, Bruton etc, who didn't even make it to the state tournament.

I think Greensville County has 3 state titles in the last 8 years if no John Marshall. 2nd best basketball program in Class 2 VA over the past 8 or so years is the team in the same region as JM which is Greensville County.

I think the difference tonight was Graham got off to a strong start, rebounded better than normal, instead of throwing up 3s all game , they drove to basket ,got guys open underneath . and actually played pretty decent defense. The got momentum early and basically kept it the majority of the game. Probably one of the best games they’ve played all season.
