Im sure many of you would highlight your teams coaches, but I would add we here in Sussex are blessed, honored, and privileged to have Coach Jefferson leading our program.

Last year Sussex was 2- 10 , Jefferson and staff this year are 10 - 2 and will compete for the Regional Championship next week in Staunton versus a beast of a team in Riverheads, we here in Sussex have the coach in place to arrive in Staunton and give us a shot. I strongly hope Coach Jefferson is considered for Coach of the Year !

Congrats on the turn around as I know last season was disappointing for the Tigers. It certainly takes a committed and adaptable staff to look at and find solutions to inadequacies that they see. I can guarantee there are a bunch of teams that would love to be practicing on Thanksgiving day in our teams place.

Let’s figure something out for sure. With all these good games being played on Saturday in SWVA, I may end up heading south myself lol. This is a HS football fans favorite few weeks of the year (well minus the August heat when practice starts up).
